Question
How do I draw a deer?
The best way to learn how to draw anything is to look at reference images while you practice drawing them. A reference image is just a photo of what you want to draw. The more you practice, the easier it will be to draw deer or anything else you want.

Of course, the Baubles can be any color you want. Purple baubles are definitely an appropriate color for the Christmas tree, they would match well with silver.

When you are drawing with a pencil, do it lightly so its easier to rub out with no marks left.
-
Always start by drawing with a pencil.
-
If you are using color pencils to color, first color the tree with respective colors lightly and then you can shade it in any way.
-
You can also draw straight with a black marker but you won't be able to change the mistake (if any) unless it is an erasable marker.
-
If your using markers to color and you are making the picture in a sketchbook, the ink may come on the next page.

About This Article
Article Summary X
To draw a christmas tree, start by drawing an isosceles triangle in pencil. At the bottom of the triangle, draw a cylindrical stump. Then, draw 5 curved horizontal lines spaced out evenly along the height of the triangle, going past the edges of the triangle. Add leaves by drawing jagged lines under the 5 curved lines, then draw the strings of lights, ornaments, and a star on top. Finish by tracing in marker and coloring in the leaves and ornaments, then erasing your pencil lines. For another simple way to draw a Christmas tree, keep reading!
